The F-15 is a twin-engine, high-performance, all-weather air superiority fighter. First flown in 1972, the Eagle entered U.S. Air Force service in 1974. The Eagle’s most notable characteristics are its great acceleration and maneuverability. It was the first U.S. fighter with engine thrust greater than the basic weight of the aircraft, allowing it to accelerate while in a vertical climb. Its great power, light weight and large wing area combine to make the Eagle very agile.

The F-15 has been produced in single-seat and two-seat versions in its many years of USAF service. The two-seat F-15E Strike Eagle version is a dual-role fighter that can engage both ground and air targets. F-15C, -D, and -E models participated in OPERATION DESERT STORM in 1991, accounting for 32 of 36 USAF air-to-air victories and also attacking Iraqi ground targets. F-15s also served in Bosnia (1994), downed three Serbian MiG-29 fighters in OPERATION ALLIED FORCE (1999), and enforced no-fly zones over Iraq in the 1990s. Eagles also hit Afghan targets in OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, and the F-15E version performed air-to-ground missions in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM.

In 1980 the F-15A on display (S/N 76-027) was delivered to the 27th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 1st Tactical Fighter Wing, at Langley Air Force Base, Va., and it is painted in the colors of that squadron. It was delivered to the museum in 1996.

The body of George F. Houghton, a former resident and pioneer of Wilson county, who died in Phoenix, Arizona, last week, arrived in Chanute today, and funeral services will be held at Masonic Temple tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be made in the Pleasant Valley New Light cemetery 12 miles southwest of Chanute.
While the funeral will be conducted by the Masonic fraternity of which Mr. Houghton was a member for many years, yet the service will be a public one and all friends of the family are invited, as well as all Masons in the city and vicinity.
Mr. Houghton was a veteran of the Civil war and a member of Earlton Post, No. 129, G. A. R.
Ed Brewster, a brother of S. W. Brewster, accompanied the body here from Phoenix.

Frage von Pardies S.: Formelumstellung in Physik (potentielle Energie, kinetische Energie, Spannenergie)?
Ich schreibe morgen eine Physikarbeit und ich soll Formeln Umstellen können. Ich habe welche umgestellt, weiß aber nicht, ob sie richtig sind.

Kann mir bitte jemand sagen, ob ich die Formeln richtig umgestellt habe?
(Espann=Spannenergie, Ekin=kinetische Energie, Epot=potentielle Energie)

Ekin=1/2v²
v²=2Ekin/m
m=2v²/Ekin

Espann=1/2*F*s
F=2Espann/s
s=2F/Espann

Espann=1/2*D*s²
D=2Espann/s²
s²=2D/Espann

D=F/s
F=D*s
s=F/D

Epot=FG*h=m*g*h
und wie stelle ich diese Formel um? (FG=Gewichtskraft)

bei der ersten: Ekin=1/2v² fehlt das m (Masse)
Ekin=1/2mv²
(( -> v = wurzel (2Ekin / m) bzw. v² = 2Ekin / m))
-> m = 2*Ekin / v² <<<<-- war bei dir falsch

bei der 2.:
s = 2Espann / F

bei der 3.
s² = 2Espann / D -----> s = wurzel (2Espann / D)

4. ist richtig

es sind immer die dritten falsch.. bei der 1. 2. und 3.

gleichungen nach einer variable auflösen ist notwendig, um ansatzweise eine genügende note zu bekommen.
